How Camp Operates
The children come first every time. Camp Victory strives continually to meet all their needs. Its target groups (partner groups) are always groups whose purpose is to run camps for children with specific health problems. Partner groups rent the Camp Victory facility for up to a week at a time.
Each camp is individually named by its partner group. Children with the same illness come together, giving each other support, hope and self-esteem, and enjoying to the full pleasures of a summer camp that caters to their specialized needs.
Some partner groups are formal support groups for specific health problems. Others are less formally structure, comprising family members and/or concerned health care personnel. All groups fund their own camps. Fees for individual camps are set by the partner groups organizing them. No child is turned away for lack of ability to pay.
